West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday reacted sharply to the Election Commission’s discover over her latest comment wherein she had requested Muslims to not divide essential minority votes amongst different events. The Election Commission issued a show-cause discover to the Trinamool chief on Wednesday for “openly demanding votes on communal grounds” throughout her campaigning in Hooghly on April 3.

Ms Banerjee calls Mr Owaisi BJP’s “B-Team”.

Earlier this week, PM Modi had stated that Ms Banerjee’s enchantment to the neighborhood was proof that she did not have confidence on her Muslim vote financial institution.

“Dear Didi, recently you said all Muslims should unite, and not allow their votes to be divided. You are saying this means that you are convinced that the Muslim vote bank has also gone out of your hands, the Muslims have also turned away from you,” he had stated.
