Veteran communist leader Dr Joginder Dayal passes away; Punjab CM condoles demise [ad_1]

Communist Party of India’s veteran leader Dr Joginder Dayal has handed away following a chronic sickness, the Punjab authorities mentioned on Friday.

He was 80.

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh expressed his condolences over Dayal’s demise and described him as a staunch votary of democratic values.

  • Dayal, who was a senior leader of the CPI from Punjab, handed away at PGIMER right here on Thursday night, a state authorities assertion mentioned on Friday.

    In his condolence message, Singh described Dayal as a leader of plenty with the qualities of head and coronary heart, who performed a pivotal function to espouse the reason for unprivileged sections of the society.
