Telangana: Intermediate practical exams postponed, to be held after board exams – Times of India

HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) on Saturday introduced the postponement of intermediate practical examinations.

The board has determined to postpone the exams within the wake of Covid-19. The exams will now be performed after the idea examination i.e from May 29, 2021, to June 7, 2021.

“Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the practical examinations for general and vocational courses scheduled to be held from April 7 to April 20 have been postponed and will be conducted after the theory examinations,” mentioned Syed Omer Jaleel, commissioner and secretary, TSBIE vide a launch.

Further particulars concerning the practical examinations — the problem of corridor tickets, batches, and timetable will be knowledgeable in the end, he added.

On March 30, the board had introduced that Ethics and Human Values and Environmental Education examinations will be performed as ‘assignment work from home’ as an alternative of bodily examinations. Students have been requested to ship assignments in pdf format to the principal of the junior faculty involved by means of the publish, mail, or bodily drop it on the faculty between April 1 and April 20.

The intermediate public examinations (concept exams) will be held between May 1 and May 20 for inter first and second-12 months college students.

Every 12 months, exams are performed in March. However, due to the pandemic exams have been postponed by about two months.
