Building applied sciences firm Honeywell and the Sydney Opera House have fashioned a three-year partnership to collaborate on initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). The partnership follows the Opera House’s commitment to the UN SDGs in October 2019.
As a Global Goals partner, Honeywell will help the world-famous performing arts centre in its dedication to sustainability, variety and inclusion, through initiatives corresponding to serving to the Opera House change into local weather constructive by 2023; collaborating on an occasion to debate how engineers are contributing to constructive social and environmental change; and launching a program to help First Nations tertiary graduates with their chosen occupation.

In the lead-up to its fiftieth anniversary, the Opera House is looking for companions throughout Australia and globally to hitch its efforts to encourage constructive change. This aligns with Global Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which inspires organisations to share data, experience, expertise and monetary sources.

Honeywell has helped the Sydney Opera House scale back water consumption by 30% via improved monitoring and supported its 20% vitality discount goal via its constructing administration system.
