Steve Aoki makes a bold prediction on digital art as he debuts new NFT

“Neon Future” is the second NFT drop for Aoki. His debut assortment in March reached over $4 million in gross sales with former T-Mobile CEO John Legere buying a single merchandise for $888,888. The assortment is being launched on Nifty Gateway, a market for NFTs.

“There will be a day where you have your car but you’ll also have the NFT version of your car,” Bilyeu mentioned. “Think of it less as a flex and more of a way to represent yourself and find others that are into the same things.”

In a world the place it is stylish to be fashionably late, Aoki mentioned he’s glad to be one of many first on the NFT celebration.

“I love the fact that we’re early, I want to be the first DJ to play in a city that no one’s ever played,” Aoki mentioned. “I want to try something that no one’s trying. I want to feel it and share it.”
