MoU between India, Japan to continue cooperation in atmospheric science | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The Union Cabinet was on Wednesday apprised of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL) and the Research Institute for Sustainable Humanosphere (RISH), Kyoto University of Japan for educational and analysis cooperation and change.
According to an official launch, the MoU, signed in November final 12 months, shall allow NARL and RISH to continue their cooperation in areas of atmospheric science and expertise, collaborative scientific experiments, campaigns and associated modelling research utilising the analysis services of RISH and NARL.
This MoU would lead to mutual utilisation of services such because the Middle and Upper ambiance (MU) radar in Shigaraki, Japan, the Equatorial Atmosphere Radar (EAR) in Kototabang, Indonesia and complementary devices out there from RISH, and the Mesosphere-Stratosphere-Troposphere (MST) radar and complementary devices out there at NARL.
NARL and RISH have been collaborating in the world of atmospheric science and expertise in addition to an change of scientists. This association was formalised in 2008 by way of an MoU and it was renewed in 2013.
