NEW DELHI: Japan Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga is planning a visit to India late April, Kyodo News quoted authorities sources as saying in Tokyo on Wednesday. The dates although are nonetheless to be finalised as India sees a recent surge in Covid infections.
“Japan seeks to reaffirm cooperation with the countries over its vision of a ‘free and open Indo-Pacific’ region through the trips, which are subject to changes depending on the Covid situation,” stated the report.
