Indian Super League (ISL) facet Hyderabad FC on Friday handed a one-year extension to their skilled goalkeeper Laxmikant Kattimani. The Goa-born custodian’s contract will run until the top of the 2021-22 season.
The 31-year-old has been with Hyderabad FC proper from their first season within the league in 2019-20 and have become their first alternative beneath the bar within the not too long ago concluded ISL season.
“I’ve now spent two years with the membership and I’m actually glad right here. I do know the membership and the folks concerned fairly properly and it was a simple determination for me to increase my time with Hyderabad FC,” said Kattimani, after signing the contract.
Hyderabad FC head coach Manuel Marquez said, “Kattimani is a very good keeper. He is not just good with his shot-stopping but is also very calm with his feet. He is confident playing out from the back and is a really good fit for our system.”
With 59 ISL appearances thus far, Kattimani was an important member of the Hyderabad FC squad that completed fifth within the league final season, and Marquez believes that his expertise might be key subsequent season.
